Privacy Policy for Ampere Pulse: Charger Tester

This Privacy Policy explains what information Ampere Pulse: Charger Tester (also shown on your device as "Ampere Pulse"; "we", "our", or "the App") uses, what stays on your phone, and what is shared with the third-party services the App relies on. The App is published by SM Tech Studio on Google Play (package name com.shahid.amperepulse).

1. Information That Stays on Your Device

The App reads the following from your phone's battery sensor to show live readings and run charger tests:

• Battery readings: charge level, charging/discharging current (mA), power (W), voltage, temperature, remaining charge (mAh), health status, battery technology, connection type (AC, USB, wireless or dock), and, on supported devices, charge cycle count.
• Saved charger tests: the name you give each test, its results (average and peak current, power, temperature, battery level) and the date.
• Your settings: theme, temperature unit and current unit.

This information is stored only on your device. We do not run our own servers and we do not receive it. Saved tests and settings remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App.

2. Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. Firebase may collect:

• An app-instance identifier generated for this installation
• Device information such as manufacturer, model, Android version and language
• Approximate location (country/region, derived from your IP address)
• In-app events, for example: app opened, screen viewed, charger test started or completed (including average current and connection type), ad loaded or shown, and whether the App was opened without an internet connection

The App also uses Firebase Remote Config to adjust app settings (such as how often ads appear) without an app update; this sends the app-instance identifier and basic device information to Google.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use:

• Your device's Advertising ID
• Approximate location (derived from your IP address)
• Ad interaction data (for example, ads shown and clicked) and diagnostic information
• Device information such as model and Android version

This data is used to show ads, measure them, prevent fraud and, where you have allowed it, personalize ads. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device). The App offers an optional rewarded video: if you choose to watch one, pop-up ads are paused for a period of time. Watching is never required.

4. Your Consent Choices (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App shows Google's consent form before any ads are requested. You can accept or decline the use of your data for ads and analytics, and change your choice at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy Options. Your choice is also passed to Firebase Analytics.

5. Ratings

After some charger tests, the App may show Google Play's in-app review dialog. This is handled entirely by Google Play; we do not receive your rating or review through the App.

6. Permissions

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): to alert you when your battery is low (below 20%) or reaches 80% or full while charging. You can turn this off at any time in your phone's settings.
• Internet and network state: used by Google AdMob and Firebase to load ads, send analytics and fetch app settings. The App's battery features work without an internet connection.
• Advertising ID (AD_ID): used by Google AdMob, as described in section 3.
• Wake lock and vibration: used by the notification system and Google services to deliver alerts and complete background tasks.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone other than Google, which processes data as described above for analytics, app configuration and advertising.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored on your device is deleted when you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Data collected by Google Firebase and AdMob is kept according to Google's retention policies. 9. Security

Data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or account details; the App has no sign-in.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and you would like their data removed, contact us.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy when the App changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
