Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 3, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Easy Uninstaller ("the app", package name com.sm.easyuninstaller, listed on Google Play as "Bulk Uninstaller: Delete Apps"), published by SM Tech Studio, handles information when you use the app on Android.
2. Your Installed Apps
The app reads the list of applications installed on your device so you can view, sort, search and uninstall them. This list, including app names, package names, sizes and permissions, is processed only on your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party.
Your preferences (theme, language, favorite apps) and your uninstall history are stored only on your device.
3. Device Permissions
- QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: to show the list of installed applications so you can manage and uninstall them.
- REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES: to open Android's standard uninstall confirmation when you choose to remove an app. Nothing is removed without your confirmation.
- PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (Usage access, optional): only if you turn it on in Android Settings. Used solely to read the storage size of each app (app, data and cache) so the app can show full sizes. Usage history is not read, and nothing obtained this way leaves your device.
- INTERNET / network state: used by the advertising, analytics and crash-reporting services described below.
4. Third-Party Services
The app is free and supported by ads. It uses the following Google services, which collect data as described in their own policies:
- Google AdMob (advertising): may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address (used to estimate approximate location), device and app information, and ad interactions, to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. How Google uses data from apps.
- Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics): collects an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, approximate region, and in-app events such as which screens are opened or whether an uninstall was completed. It does not receive the names of your installed apps, package names, or what you type into search. Firebase privacy information.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting): when the app crashes or hits an error, sends a crash report containing the error details, device model, operating system version, and an installation identifier, so we can fix bugs. Crash reports do not contain the names of your installed apps. Firebase privacy information.
- Google Firebase Remote Config: downloads app settings (for example, ad settings) and uses an app-instance identifier to do so.
Data collected by these services is encrypted in transit.
5. Your Choices
- Ad consent: where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy Options.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Deletion: uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data it stored on your device. To ask about data held by Google's services, contact us at the address below.
6. Data Retention
Data stored on your device is kept until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Firebase Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of our Firebase project (at most 14 months).
7. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
