2. No Personal Data Collection

Note Prompt does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or information to external servers. Your notes, checklists, task items, image attachments, and customizable color selections are stored strictly locally on your own device's internal storage.

We do not have access to your written notes, checklists, or saved images. Your notes belong entirely to you.

3. Device Permissions Declared

To deliver advanced reminders and background sticky note alerts, Note Prompt requires access to certain system permissions. Below is an explanation of why each permission is required:

🔔 Post Notifications Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)

Used to render customizable note reminders in your device's drawer.

⚙️ Foreground Services (FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_REMINDER)

Required to maintain persistent "Sticky Notifications" inside the notification tray, allowing users to interact, tick items off checklists, or tap "Done" easily without service interruption.

4. Third-Party Services (AdMob Advertising)

To keep the application free for our users, Note Prompt incorporates Google AdMob advertising services. Google AdMob may collect and process certain identifiers of your device. This data is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policies.

5. Image and Local File Storage

When you attach images to your notes (NotePrompt Pro feature), the files are processed using your system's native Media Picker and duplicated into our app's secure private documents directory. These images are not uploaded, shared, or indexed by our servers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all your notes are stored locally on your device, you have complete ownership and control over your data. All notes, checklists, images, and preferences are automatically and permanently deleted from your system immediately upon uninstalling the application.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has shared information, please contact us so we can verify and delete any local caching.
