Welcome to Sajda: Salah Spots & Tracker. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the location and prayer data you log in our app. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Sajda: Salah Spots & Tracker is an offline-first and privacy-focused companion. All of your saved Sajda spots (mosques, travel pray areas, home, office), coordinates, and personal prayer logs are stored exclusively in your device's local memory and are never uploaded to any server.
The core feature of Sajda is allowing you to log and map the physical spots where you pray. The app requests location access for:
Strictly Local & Offline: GPS coordinates, geocoded addresses, and dropped pins are processed directly on your device. We do not operate external databases, and your location coordinates are never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
When you log prayers, associate them with a specific Sajda spot, or record statistics, that data remains stored in your device's secure local storage (using AsyncStorage and Redux-Persist). You retain full ownership and control over your history.
The app may collect aggregated, anonymous usage events (such as navigating to the map screen or logging a salah) via Firebase Analytics. This is used solely to evaluate app stability and performance, containing absolutely no location coordinates or personally identifiable information (PII).
Since all data is offline and device-bound, deleting the app will permanently remove your saved Sajda spots and prayer history. We recommend securing your device with biometrics or a PIN to prevent unauthorized physical access to your records.
Sajda integrates native mapping services and on-device geocoding APIs. These functions run directly through your mobile operating system's built-in services and do not share your mapped prayer spots with external advertisement networks.
